How to get a Short Facebook Profile Link
Hi everyone. It has been a long time I posted something about facebook. Today I will tell you something interesting which will make your facebook profile link short. As we all now have a facebook account. It has been big news for everyone to know about what’s new in facebook. - Login to your facebook Account.
- Open This Link http://www.facebook.com/username
- You will be redirected to a page.
- In that Select your Profile ID and it asks your desired username.
- Type the desired username in the given box and check availability.
- If it is available then click on confirm.
Before you confirm it, you have to keep some rules in mind.
- You can’t change the username once you set it.
- You can’t transfer the ownership of a username to another party.

Please go with the first method of username link. and more over i think ur facebook is verified with a email. or else you couldnt able to use facebook features. Just verify the facebook with there verification mail. or just check out whether you are logged in your acount properly or not 🙂 thankyou.

Yea dude please check out the link http://apps.facebook.com/webaddress/ and also you can do in the last step which i gave in this post. Even that can be useful to make group custom ID’s.

Yes, you can change it to your wish. Usually people put the same name as the name of the site is, but many of them forget the fact that, we can even change or put any other name to a page name url. If you want to change your url name to some thing else, you can surely do it.. and if u want to change the page name, the likes should be below 200 likes. 🙂
Thanks for your help Satish. So if I have got this right and to get through my thick brain. My url id on my page is different to my main site url. I have looked up the 15 number digit ID and it is different. Could you just confirm that I have got that right. Cheers J
