Now a days people are facing lot of problems with there browsers, as they often crash while working on something important. No matter how lite the browser may be, people still find difficulties in using them with peace. I am not a rebel of Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, i still support them a lot. But some things must be changed accordingly, when we are progressing in technology and life. The reason to write this post is, many people have complained me that there browser will often crash when they open some thing flashy or while using more number of tabs and applications.They always ask me which is the best browser which never crashes when they are on serious work. So i have decided to make a list of browsers which never crashes so often. This list is my own custom made report, i have tested each and every browser very carefully and noted there working capability by putting a lot of stress on each of the individual browser while working and to my surprise the results were quite amazing and now i will present the top 5 browsers whom you can trust to work for hours without any problems.
First let me make clear that this is my own custom report, This was tested was conducted on the basis of a common user who spends 18hrs a day in browsing like me.So the list goes like this..
Browser’s Which Never Crash Often :
1) Opera 11 : The new Opera 11 is really awesome and lightning fast as they say.You can feel the browser very lite and very fast if you have already used it. The browser works really fast and i have opened approximately 50 to 60 tabs at a time and believe me it never crashed even once from a week. I tried to put as much pressure as i can to the browser. But Opera 11 has really was designed so strong that i can assure you that Opera 11 will never crash when you browse for long hours. If you want to download this beauty. 2) Maxthon 3.0 : This is a wonderful browser which never crashed even a single time when i was browsing. Though this browser is not that flexible and light as Google chrome, but the work and interface of this browser is pretty awesome. 3) Safari 5.0.3 : I agree that apple safari is not that lite as the other browsers are, but as per my testing and report this browser never crashes when we open large number of tabs and high graphic pages which load slow. I have used this browser for 1 whole week to test how strong it is, and now its in top 3 place of my list. 4) Internet Explorer 8 : Internet Explorer which is the most trusted browser of all over the globe is very impressive with its functionality and resistance. The browser will not crash very often and its really secured browser where you can do your work without any problems. The new IE 9 is also extremely impressive and easy to use. 5) Mozilla Firefox : I know people love Mozilla Firefox. Basically i love Firefox browser a lot. But while coming to the testing part as i said earlier, Mozilla couldn’t be able to take more than 30 tabs at a time and suddenly it began to take all of the system resources in CPU usage and was crashing horribly. Inspite of regular updates from Mozilla Firefox i still believe they have to work hard on the new Mozilla Firefox 4.0 Beta. I personally don’t prefer a Beta version to work. I cant take my browser crashing all times when i am working seriously.
You may be surprised that why your favorite browser’s are not in the list. The main reason for that it really doesn’t matter how fast the browser is, The only thing which people want is a safe and a crash proof system in the browser which allow them to work happily. The post may not be scientifically very correct and strong, but this post was written after testing each and every browser for one complete week and also asking various people that which is the best browser which they feel that it will not crash when we are busy using various tabs.

You should be more scientific in your approach before posting a review like this. I’ve used Chrome exclusively for years now and I routinely have tons of tabs and windows open without it crashing.
It’s obvious that any 5 tab limitation would be a critical issue for the chrome team, so perhaps you should question your testing before you slander the browser.
Ok fine Patrick i completely agree with your comment. I will certainly bring a strong proof that really Google chrome crashes very often. i have received hundreds of complaints from my friends and visitors that is there any alternative for Google chrome. I am using all the services of Google now. I am happy with all of them except chrome. They can work on it. i may not be able to bring the scientific proof, but i can certainly show you that people are expecting good performance from chrome with a poll.
I second that.Chrome is unable to handle a lot of open tabs,especially when media-rich websites are open.Certain tabs become non-responsive,especially when you open video streaming websites on multiple tabs.It eats up huge amount of system memory and resources
i agree. i can’t finish downloading or watching on youtube because google chrome crashes every now and then, and it’s pissing me off. that’s why i came here, to look for a browser that will definitely not fail me. gonna give opera a try.

I use Opera on a netbook because after testing all main and most usable alternative browsers, it was the fastest on this kind of machine. You can really tell how fast it is when you’re running it compared to other browsers on low-end hardware.
Opera 11 is really improved and now its really fast and very lite to browse. i feel opera 11 is really a alternative for Google chrome at present.

i use google chrome and fire fox . Both are horrible and always crash.
Mine is a slow internet connection and i should wait for ages again to open them.

I used to use opera, navigate easy and not a lot of problems, also Firefox but each new revision had problems on the first days..

I am a Mozilla user for quite some time but for now I used Mozilla 4 and it crashes very often I don’t recommend for now. I’ll try Opera 11 will see if this ones better. Thanks for the review…
Update:
Now I’m back with the latest Firefox 5… Opera is quiet good to my experience, never crashes even you open 50 tabs and you can joined each of these tabs but the reason I go back to Firefox is that Opera can’t capture or see all the video on websites, not all of them but sometimes it does and that’s the problem. I hope that they will fix that, it is worth using though…
I don’t know about any of these browser, I use Google Chrome and for me sometimes it crashes..
And one more thing in IE8 you have given link of FF and Image of IE9.. 😛 Take care of these things.. 😉

I am opera user but since Opera 10 it has been crashing multiple times per day. I cannot recommend it as “not crashing ofter” browser at all.
I was talking about Opera 11 dear 🙂 Try it once and i bet you wont be disappointed. And Maxthon is 100 times even more better than other browsers.
And for mobile, what is the best for you? I like opera!

Opera 11 crashed for me 🙁 over 5 tabs it hangs… the internet connection is fab though !
Try to clear your cache for every 4days so that you cannot face this problem in future.

The best and quickest to use on a netbook (for me) is a nice (not well know) browser called (Comodo Dragon)!
You can either carry on using your network providers server Or use Comodo Dragons server’s….(if you have a problem with DOS attacks!!) of course!

i try firefox many time but it crash.
The best one i find among all is Opera.
its really good and never crash likes other.
Gooogle is the enermy and have spyware on 90% of web-sites and they give Firefox $50m a year and the results are we now have ‘Crome’ folders used by FF and we all know who owns Crome
Type About:config into FF address bar and then do a search for the world ‘Google’ and you will see Google is intergrated into FF all over the place and that just the bits you can see.
IE9 is better but only because microsoft has been unable to win in the seach engine wars and IE comes with good tools for blocking spyware and by default it will block all googles plus buttons that use javascript loaded over SSL because google does not won’t people to know the lengths it goes to in order to spy on people.

In most browser I try it’s not problem speed (how they fast) but problem is that they crush because of Shockwave or Flash player. My kids like to play Facebook games and browsers crush because of these 2 problems every little while. Is there any browser which not crush because of it? For common surfing the web and IE is good.
I use a browser called ‘Comodo Dragon’ Hany, it’s perfect for facebook/twitter and general surfing the internet, been using it for a while now and belive me it’s fast and ‘most of all’ secure!
There’s a multitude of extra tools ‘if you want them’, there ‘Free’ Anti Virus is about the best you can get ‘including the one’s people pay for’.

Try Opera 11 and maxthon.. they never crashed. Maxthon will never crash. You have 2 modes in it. One mode can be used to save you from crashes.
I’ve tried Opera, Firefox and Chrome. I have heard about maxathon for the first time actually. I’ll download that and give a try. I have found chrome which doesn’t create much problem while browsing.

come on,don’t believe every thing you see,1st, chrome is a very,super fast browser,and even by opening very much tabs,it can still working without any interruption.i agree that opera 11 is one of the best browsers, but i disagree that explorer is good,and that maxthon ,i will asure every body , and advice them by my 2 years working on browsing,use neither google chrome (the fastest browser),or firefiox (7.01 is super wow),and opera 11.51 (it’s fabulous,more over its easy to use and it’s light and fast).thx
Hi Iker, Try using chrome while using with some other softwares like IDM. Then you can know why people hate chrome now a days. Even i know IE is not that good. But you should try maxthon.

Maxathon crashes on me ALL the time. Its very annoying.
Used Firefox for years. Then after the latest update, I can’t browse 5 minutes without it locking up my computer. I have now started using Opera 11, but my unfamiliarity with it is uncomfortable. Also, when I start up Opera, it takes maybe 30-60 seconds to load my favorites. I’m looking for something else.
You should try the new maxthon.. Its really amazing with a lot of features. You can feel the difference.. There is nothing wrong in trying a new and a amazing product 🙂 I bet you will love it.

Thanks for sharing these results. I am going to try one of your recommendations now as i have lost patience with Chrome (flash plugin keeps crashing, and then the browser crashes) and Firefox (which I loved but it takes over my CPU).

Mozilla Firefox ranks #1 for crashing browser… before i was fan of mozilla, but now i moved to Google Chrome for crashing… Google chrome is a best browser, it never crashed…
i’ve used all the browsers available till now…so as far as i concerned…the new and latest browser “chromeplus” is the best …..it gives resonably better speed than chrome,firefox,mozilla etc…so

Google chrome works perfectly even with numerous tabs, extensions, plug-in and themes incorporated. No other browser provides such rich features with such a stability. Crash once in a while can happen to any browser no matter how stable it is.

For web developers Firefox is more flexible compare to any other browsers. I am using firefox latest version but some times crashed. Chrome web developers add ons some time not working fine.
Few versions of Firefox may be having crash issues but there is no match with its quality as compared to any other. Yes if we talk about speed then Chrome is the best option.

I have experience if you are playing on net or your viewing site that have lots of flash than go for google chrome . If you are surfing net only for content or anything then go for Mozilla firefox.
In my opinion decide your interest and then choose your browser for that . like if your are interested in playing games or website that have lots of flash then go for google chrome. If you are surfing net only for content or traffic exchange or etc then go for mozilla firefox.

I used Opera: some links , buttons not working, bizarre behavior, like pages opening and closing on there own and sometimes crashing…have had enough, i think i try Comodo Dragon
If I say which is the fastest browser nowadays is COMODO DRAGON is the fastest one. I compared with al the browser . comodo is good one and quick to search etc……

I don’t know whether this info will help anyone…but let me try. Like most people I too use Ffox. However, with every NEW version it got bad to worse – costant crashing. crashing.
I tried all – Opera, Google Chrome, Maxthone but nothing like FF – may be because the vast amounts of apps available.
Anway, as a solution I went back to an older version. I was amazed that I was allowed to retract !!!
Everything is fine now. Except this version of FF does not work very well with one of my favourite downloaders – ORBIT. Any one has a solution for me, please?

I just downloaded IE8 (apparently IE9 is not available for Windows XP) and the first thing it did was swallow up all the RAM to 100% and freeze my system. I also have FF3.6.8 and it does not crash but will eventually hit 100% of RAM when I get to about 40 tabs & windows, and bring the system response to a crawl. I’ll try Maxthon and Opera 11. Thx!
Satish bro, i must say that Chrome is not good and crash very often.. but my net is slow so i have to use it any ways. But while using it i have to be carefull not to open much tabs. i know this is horrible but i have no other way. There is no use of Opera if it cant provide me good speed, So definetly i have to go with chrome. Pls suggest me a browser which is the fastest among all. i can compromise that crashing stuff rather comprising speed.

I will recommend IE9 at the top of the list. I use to make a lot of online transactions & had felt that it’s the best to use. Before the time, I was using Google Chrome & Firefox; both of them had stopped responding, if I don’t clear the cache or re-install them.
IE8 is again not a good browser. Due to IE8, I had switched to Chrome but due to Chrome, I had switched to IE9.
I don’t have any experience with Opera. So, I will not comment over it. But, from my point of view, IE9 is the most stable browser.
One more thing, I cannot understand, why people use to say that Chrome is fast? If you have not loaded any add-ons on IE, it’s also very fast. Again, regarding the speed with which websites get opened are in milli-seconds & none of them us can really visualize it. Just with a difference of few ms, we cannot conlcude it on a practical basis.

I recently installed Opera for both its browser and e-mail client. Superb … Ingenious ! I’ve used Chrome and Firefox (bleh) up til now, and as much as I enjoyed Chrome, I found that it did crash a lot when quitting.

I’m using chrome but it crash on large site with flash, opera is quite good browser and firefox too, IE works BUT the problem is the compatibility and speed.
Google chrome crashes a lot of times and behaves wierdly on the interface at times. IE is just tooooooooo slow IMO. Gonna give Opera a try after reading this.

I personally recommend Google Chrome. I am a web developer and found this browser really awesome. After Chrome I will go with Opera, extremely fast and really never crash. I usually open high graphics website in Opera. In my opinion IE is the worst browser, don’t user this. Only Microsoft copycat new features of other popular browser like Chrome, Mozilla and Opera.

Google Chrome is the best. It is very fast and has never crashed since I started using it. It also has some nice features like themes, gadgets, etc.

Well, I use Mozilla Firefox. If you really want a fast browser which can load page quickly I recommend Google chrome. Google chrome is really best for browsing. But if you want to do Facebook then I should recommend Mozilla Firefox.
That is not true I was running FireFox and with in a mouth it has Chashed 8 time and now it will not let me into YouTube now when try to download a video but I can use IE or Safari and I don’t get the error

im using chrome and 2 days ago in my facebook and my sister we can open chat it loading and we cant write anything then people tell us to use safari then we use it and then it is very slow now im downloading maxthon

I’m still trying to find the best browser for me. Chrome and Firefox crash a lot. IE is stable but so slow. Opera was very laggy but I might give it another try. Going to also try Ace Explorer and Cometbird. hmm…

I would say Firefox and internet explorer, would love to put Google chrome on the list but given the title of this post, I can’t. Maxthon also has great potential, however they are not versatile at all when it comes to plugins.

Every browser is built to be stable, crashes don’t depend only on the browser code. Software behaves differently in different computers. I have personally used all the above browsers and never had a crash. But I use only one on this PC, because I like it more than others. Have you perhaps thought your computer could have problems instead of ranting against an author? I’ve been using Firefox from years and never had problems. One certain version update caused a bit of slowdown so I uninstalled it and waited for an update. After the update it worked just fine. There are 3 computers I use with 3 different browsers, I have never experienced problems. Care to explain that instead of insulting someone?
There is no such thing called the browser that never crash, every browser WILL crash at one time or the other time, BUT for SURE(all of the browsers that i work on are updated versions and i expose them to max workload so they crash almost every alternate day :P). I’ve been using almost all the major browsers from past 15years. Chill…..i think this is enough of the topic. . .
My preferences are Fire Fox and or Opera IE keeps Crashing for the time i have had it

Chrome is best. Firefox hangs sometime. but Firefox looks so beautiful.
I tried Chrome, kept locking up. Maxthon was great for about 3-4 weeks, then all of a sudden the past few days it locks up, has “fatal errors”, and pages won’t load. Had my computer checked for viruses, etc. but that doesn’t seem to be it. I wish I knew. I don’t run more than four tabs at once, perhaps it is what I run as opposed to the quantity.
I suggest you uninstall Chrome, delete the directory from the partition where it was installed and run a cleanup tool like CCleaner and finally reinstall.
Each and every browsers will crash at some point. there is no such thing as “BROWSER THAT NEVER CRASH”… i have also tried all browsers … Chrome always use high amount of Physical memory compare to Firefox ..
If you want to know which one is best browser … just try all browser on your own..
Stick with the browser which is you feel very convenient…

I have downloaded “SUPERFAST BROWSER” with an “S” like “SUPERMAN” and it is just as good or even better than GOOGLE CHROME though of the same structure.
yuo are only looking at the mainstream – this is a very limited view of the pc world. There are much more interesting things than what the big media companies are programming into your head to be the “big one”. You seem to be a creative guy – go and look for something interesting and do not reiterate industry propaganda.

I could not agree with the article any more. Internet Explorer is one of the worst web browsers that crash very often. Mozilla was good but now-a-days Mozilla crashes very often. Chrome is best in every way and I think it is the only browser which never crash. Rest are all junks.

I do not know which is the best browser as all of them sometimes have faults like you say crashes. Chrome this year seems to crash too , past years was damn good. Never like firefox or explorer. Had used Maxthon but slow. I had tried the recent one called Torch but slow too, I guess there are too many people all over the world using it and that is why it crashes more often. At the moment am not sure which one I shall choose, I am trying to download another one

Firefox crashes several times in a day. every time I have to restart to make it wok. Once best now worst.

Uc browser is the best on pc n mobile, especially mobile phone android.

You don’t need to uninstall, they can work side by side. The security is great as well!
Firefox is a bad browser ! It hangs & crashers frequently
I hate to bust any ones bubbles but Mozilla Firefox crashes minute after minute. I can open 2 tabs and bam crash, I have even had only 1 open and bam crash. I am so sick of it. And you can not find any way to get in touch with them, its time is over. Internet explorer would be good if it had history but no they had to take that away. Do any of these people learn to ask the people what they would like in a browser no. They act like the government and try to tell us what we want and need. So lets dump them all until they listen and give us what we need.
