Warcraft DotA Online Chat Abbrevations, Shortcuts

New to online DotA?? Do you need to know the abbreviations that players use online?? Don’t worry I’ll be covering that up for you. Though it is gonna take some time to memorize it.I strongly suggest you just read it once and leave the rest to your passive memory to recollect it later and focus on other important things such as mastering the game. So let’s Begin…..

WORD                     MEANING

1. AFK – Away from keyboard
2. BBL – Be back later
3. BRB – Be right back
4. BS – Backstab or BloodSeeker
5. Buff – Make something better (an ability, stats, items etc)
6. GLHF – Good luck, have fun
7. Imba – Imbalanced
8. LOL –   Laughing out loud
9. Nm,Nvm –  Nevermind or Nevermore
10. Ppl –  People
11. B –   Back or retreat
12. BKB –  Black King Bar
13. DD –  Double Damage
14. Dmg – Damage
15. Dota – Defense of the Ancients
16. Eos –   Eye of skadi
17. Fend – Defend
18. Gg –  Good game
19. Ks –  Kill steal
20. MKB –  Monkey King Bar
21. Pub –   Public
22. Regen – Regeneration
23. Rmk –  Remake
24. Bd –  Backdoor
25. Push – Push a lane,destroy towers,get megas.
26. Feeder – An ally who repeatedly dies to enemy granting opponents gold and experience points making them stronger as a result
27. Rapier –  Divine Rapier
28. Gank –   Gank an enemy
29. Nuke –   Do spell damage
30. Owning – Killing heroes repeatedly
31. Illu –   Ilusion
32. Aga –   Aghanim’s Scepter
33. Heart –  Heart of tarrasque
34. Sny –    Sange and Yasha
35. Basher –  Cramium Basher
