      Good to know your worked for Indian Army. Cheers for that. And Coming to your laptop. If you want to buy a laptop with Budget Rs 35k, then you can buy any one from above given list. If you dont want to buy any one among these given laptops, then try buying a Dell Inspiron. This comes with custom modification and since you are a Teacher, i would suggest you to buy a i3 which is more than enough for your occupation. Because i5 and i7 are mostly used by Gamers and high end users who work on big applications. You can also try Sony VAIO models which start from 25k.           Yes, it has.. I am using HP DV6 from 2months now. Its been a perfect example of performance. The new cooling system in HP laptops will never make your laptop go over heat. You can trust on HP now. Because they have replaced Nvidia graphic cards with ATI now.

      Nope, You can go for a better laptop at that cost. I think it has only 1GB ddr2 card. Enough for Prostreet now. But you cannot expect to play games like Crysis and Assasins creed in it.. 🙂

          Yea, what all i suggested above are 2nd generation laptops. They are very stable under the price tag at which you are getting them. Asus is good, but when it comes to service, it lags behind. You can go with Samsung instead. It has better service and better price tag. And it is core i3 with 2G.. Do check it again or walk into your nearest computer/ laptop dealer. 🙂

      Please check our previous comments here, we have already posted some best laptops under 26k. But you may not get a laptop with a dedicated graphic card within that range. The 1GB range starts from 32k. If you can adjust with 512MB, you can try the two models given below. These two come with 512MB dedicated graphics and under 27k budget.

      1) Dell Inspiron 14 AMD M4040 E-450 (512MB Graphics) @ Rs: 27,100
      AMD AMD Dual Core, 2 GB DDR3 RAM, 14 Inch Screen, Linux OS.

    3)realtime battery backup of atleast 4 hrs
    4)and if possible a good or moderate dedicated graphic card will be a boon too

      Windows Vista Business

      2) HP Elitebook 2530P Laptop @ Rs. 37400
      Intel Core 2 Duo
      2 GB DDR2 RAM,

      And remember that there are no laptops with Core i3 under 12.1 inch screen range. The only way is to go with netbook. If you want i3, then go for bigger screen laptops as mentioned 🙂 and also check our previous comments above.

      Its not like that, you can install any operating system into it.. Linux is most supported in that laptop. So they have made a preinstalled release. You can anytime install windows in your laptop.

    graphics, 15″ screen..my budget is upto max 35000/-. The specs should meet the overall requirements of mechanical engg designing softwares….plz suggest appropriate model,,.. N i dont want to buy anythng online .so plz suggest whr will i get in reasonable price..

    i want to buy a laptop for gaming but my budget is 35k. i know i wont get one in 35 k… but which will be the beast to get… i5 processor n 1gb graphic card is a must… what should i prefer hp pavilion, asus x or acer laptops??

Worked my way up to this post from your sub5000 tablet post. 🙂 Was curious why you do not consider providing the specs, ratings, pros and cons, in a spreadsheet format for easier comparison. My fingers are sore from scrolling up and down. You must be having a reason.
