what you mentioned in this post is a very true fact.Its just simple fact that you dont get all things in one even God hasnt made something which contains all i.e. perfectness.When something Rs 3000 cheap which is almost even at least 25% of a standard tablet price available in the market and to expect it to do wonders is just day dreaming. Its just like buying a chinese phone and expecting it to do that of a Nokia,Sony Ericsson etc.I think its better to get happy and feel proud when you carry this small wonder when we visit any palce,friends,relatives,offices etc.
I feel very proud of what the tab is now capable of. Lets hope that people will be satisfied with what they are getting from this poor 3k tab 🙂
Ubislate Can Support Skype application and Its has camera ?
It was developed to help students in their studies. As of now, they don’t need so many features. Moreover, its not possible to make a fully loaded tab in just 3k!

If you can spend 12k, i suggest you to get a Beetel Magiq II (around rs: 10,000) or iBall Slide i7011 (rs: 13,000) which are really awesome. They have everything u needed. and i suggest them for people who are having a minimum of 15k budget. I am not sure about zync tab which you have mentioned. But these are very much better than any other in that range.

I have doubt about the rs. 98 per month internet pack.
If I have no any wi fi connectivity near about me, then is it compulsary for me to subscribe rs.98 per month?
Because I don’t want to subscribe internet pack for the around 12 months because the whole 12 month subscription is a huge investment for me.

akaash tablet team is giving a very poor service and if there are some delays in the delivery dates than from my opinion i think they must give us some information and must also tell us our delivery dates .

1.Govt declined to buy next set about 1 lakh tablets from Datawind company ie UBISLATE7+ due to complaints from users about bad build quality such as
a> tab become brick when pressing wifi on
b>tab get bricked when using for 10 minutes and not starting agin
c>CNN opened the device in public and displayed cheapest plastics and wires for connection which is about just 1300/- and the rest ie 1500 is their profit.
d> Datawind got much publicity through Govt, already got pree booking of 2 million indians including me and jumpted from 5 million company to half billion company capital
2.About UBISLATE7+(latest name)………hardware
1)has wifi and phone modem(so calling surfing…all possible)
2)chance for integrated speaker
3)other functions same as old bad Aakash tab(now called Ubislate7)except a cortex a8 processor
software:
1)so will run Gingerbread(which has a minimum req of 700mhz and 128 mb ram)
2) Confirmed Still no android market(as it does not comply with android compatibility standards such as requirement of atleast one camera)so no google supports(u get getjar app pre installed)
3)should have introduced 278mb ram which is the requirement of android 2.3 fr running with out force clossing of apps

any how you can get an android phone and tab without accelerometer but with 2gb internal flash memory at 3000/- which is a good deal if atlest it work for atleast one year…
i am hoping it should not shut down automatically when starting wifi….

Guys, Aakash will be available in stores from April 2012. The bookings will be sent as soon as possible for the December 2011 users 🙂 Since there is a lot of demand for the tabs, its getting a bit late now. Please wait for few more days and get your own aakash tablet.

Vadodara, Friday : The Union HRD ministry will be launching the Aakash 2 tablets in the month of April and May 2012. said by the Union minister of state, HRD, Dr D Purandeswari.
Aakash 2 tablets which are more improved tablets with a faster processor speed and a capacitive touch screen, will be launched by this April-May 2012. Dr D Purandeswari also said that the tablets will be available to college and university students at the same price of Aakash tablets and will make the tablets available for school students after seeing the success at higher education level. She said, by the release of Aakash 2, there will be no battery problems as like Aakash 1 and will it will be more consistent and better than the previous version.
So, we all have to wait for aakash tablets till the month of April – may 2012.

I had recived Aakash Ubislat 7 and the speaker is not working. The Airplane mode is not disabiling. Battery cycle is low. So there is no wifi connectivity i tried using Reliance AC2736 ZTE dongle with configuration from a website but wont recognise. There is SIM slot at the backside when i inserted the SIM it not works. I dont think wifi is available every place in in India whats the idea of introducing a wifi enabled product without any wifi infrastucture facility. Can you please suggest how to configure datacard dongle to this tab
